Under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, all contributions must be recorded by the Financial Agent for official compliance, and for cumulative donations of $100 or more, the donor's full legal name, city, and contribution details will be submitted to Elections BC to be made publicly available in election disclosure reports.

If you are more comfortable, you can also send e-Transfers directly.

To complete your contribution via Interac e-Transfer, please use the following details in your online banking app:

  • Transfer Type: Interac e-Transfer (Auto-Deposit enabled; no security question required)

  • e-Transfer Message Field (IMPORTANT): Please type your full name in the transfer memo box so our Financial Agent can match your payment to the eligibility form you just submitted.

Once again, we ask you to note the following:

  • Under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, all contributions must originate from your personal funds.

  • Contributions are capped at $1,429.70 per individual for the 2026 election cycle.

  • If an e-Transfer arrives from an unmatched bank account name or lacks a corresponding submission form, the Financial Agent will reach out to verify your details or return the funds.
